About Ashley Renee

Ashley Renee is a visionary leader, teacher, and neuroscience researcher dedicated to helping people learn, adapt, and flourish in times of change and disruption.

For many years, Ashley Renee served as a senior executive focused on workforce innovation and transformation. Over the course of her career, she partnered closely with senior leaders and teams navigating digital disruption, cultural change, and identity. She designed, built, and scaled large organizations while teaching employees how to adapt inside complex systems.

Ashley Renee is a global speaker who regularly engages communities and corporations of all backgrounds on topics such as:

  • How trust is built within growing teams

  • How to navigate change during times of disruption

  • How the brain makes new predictions

  • Leveraging AI for good

Today, Ashley Renee continues to dedicate her life to shaping community, teaching, research, and philanthropy through her own pursuits as a neuroscientist, ministry leader, and small business owner of her very own bakery and specialty goods store.

As a neuroscientist, Ashley Renee studies how the brain makes predictions, stores memories accurately (particularly in instances of trauma), and how learning shapes behavior. She is a lifelong student of the human brain—how we learn, how we heal, how we adapt, and how we remember who we are beneath systems, roles, and expectations. You can learn along with her by following her new monthly blog ‘ The Neural Monthly’ and by following her on LinkedIn.

As a Bible teacher and ministry leader, Ashley Renee creates spaces where women can heal, lead, and grow together in safe community. Through her nonprofit Eight48 Ministries, she leverages her background in neuroscience to teach her students how to make new predictions, experience freedom past trauma, and receive the love of Christ. Eight48 is also where Ashley Renee has the opportunity to meet the practical needs of her local community through philanthropic giving. This ministry is where Ashley Renee pours her time and care directly into people.

Through Sweet Humanity Kitchen, Ashley Renee gives culture and storytelling a new look (and taste!). Sweet Humanity Kitchen represents stories and tables from around the world; ones that hold memories of loved ones past and pour warmth into future generations. At SHK, food is the love language. Ashley Renee connects science with baking to develop recipes, mixes, teas, and sauces that can be utilized in any kitchen to make the absolute most special meal. That's not all. With her history in employee, leadership, and executive development, Ashley Renee has carefully designed Humanity University where she has the opportunity to host classes with aspiring bakers and chefs while also going back into workplaces to host leadership assimilations, offsite events, and team-building events.

Alongside this work, Ashley Renee continues to speak, teach, and facilitate conversations for organizations, communities, and leaders navigating change. She speaks on the neuroscience of learning and adaptation, leadership in times of disruption, trauma-informed systems, and building cultures where people can truly thrive. Whether in boardrooms, classrooms, church conferences, or community spaces, Ashley Renee is ready to partner with you for your next gathering.

If you’re looking for a speaker, teacher, or facilitator—Ashley Renee welcomes the conversation.
